8/17/08- FRIDAY, SEPT. 26TH, CD RELEASE SHOW AT THE FINELINE MUSIC CAFE IN MINNEAPOLIS, 8 PM. Yes, we set the date for our biggest show ever. You dont want to miss this one. Doors are set for 8 pm, show will start about 8:30. Tim Mahoney is also on the bill that night and will play after us. 8/8/08 - Well its been quite a summer. Taking alot of time off from gigging, Cal and the boys pretty much spent the whole summer in the studio, working on the new record. The record is getting closer to being done. Back in June, Cal signed with producers, Oliver Din and Greg McNeely of Ear for Music Productions, to handle the anticipated sophmore album. The project has gone well and expects to be completed by september. Look for a release date to be set for late september. In the mean time check out the tour dates for an upcoming show.

4/29/08 - Happy spring time! I swear its right around the corner. The Cal Ecker Band has been busy as usual this spring and is getting ready for the summer ahead. Be sure to come out to Bootleggers in Minneapolis every wednesday night all summer long to check us out. We just finished playing the Varsity in dinkytown and at the U of M last weekend for spring jam. Thanks to all who came out to support us there. This week we play at the Fineline in Minneapolis thursday night at 9 pm. Hope to see you all there. Cal is making final decisions on details for his new record which is looking to release sometime this summer. So check back for updates. Holla.

3/18/08 - Hello from the Cal Ecker Band! February and March have kept us busy playing at The Fine Line, Bootleggers, Firehouse and Club Three Degrees. Thanks to all of you who came out to show your support. We'll be at Bootleggers the next 4 nights and then we're headed down under to New Zealand and will hit L.A. for a show on our way back! We'll be returning to the Twin Cities April 9th for another 4 night stand at Bootleggers. Look for our new record to release sometime this summer! I know its been past due, but will be worth the wait. Adios till next time!

1/1/08 - Happy New Year!! Goodbye 2007, welcome 2008. Hope yall have enjoyed the holiday season as much as we have. We finished up 2007 with a weekend run at Bootleggers before Christmas, then played back there on the 26th and followed that up with a show at the Firehouse in Circle Pines on the 28th. French Lick had the privilage of ringing in the new year at their northwoods favorite, The Lonesome Pine on Bay Lake. Huge thanks to Josh Goolsbee for having us up. This week we are back at Bootleggers wednesday through saturday. Make sure to come out and support us. See you soon.
